 Know-Its and Beyond Readiness teaches students beginning reading skills. Starting with beginning sounds and developing skills until students are reading short vowel books, the Know-Its program works. Why? Children love to play games and interact with learning. Application is key to learning to read, and our intervention kit provides multiple ways of doing it.
Games, magnetic manipulatives, books, and writing take-homes provide students with a variety of ways to apply skills. With all materials laminated and ready to use, teachers can spend more quality time teaching, rather than making learning centers. The lessons target Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Writing with more emphasis on the first two components. Including all the researched based reading components ensures that students are getting a balanced approach to reading.
